Happy Birthday

I celebrated my 44th birthday yesterday with a bunch of teenagers. I know, not a typical birthday party for a middle-aged dude, but I happen to coach high schoolers in the fine sport of cross country, and the schedule called for a big meet in San Diego on my birthday. So it was a "working party."

The kids ran great -- present enough! -- but afterwards we were able to relax at the city pool there in the park where the meet was held, and so we all had some pizza and fun times.
